I think he was shooting but when you put it across goal like that and it gets tapped in it becomes a pass whatever the intention. Two assists for Richy today.

Feels like there’s more goals all over the team. DCL and Richarlison will both get double figures fitness permitting. James looks likely to contribute. Both centrebacks are a threat in the air. It’s a far better situation than when we were just hoping Richarlison would score or we’d get nothing. Just need Gomes and Doucoure to start looking more potent.

One of the most pleasing things I've seen so far is that Richarlison is fuming he hasn't scored. I think DCL scoring freely as he is will only motivate Richarlison more. This must be what it is to have a team full of ambitious, quality players.

Very true mate. I was watching the training vid last night and he was slotting for fun and I thought to myself he looks full of beans. Normally you see hi score a fair few and a few scuffed efforts but he was proper rifling some in. Watch it if you haven't already and you'll see what I mean. Just looked like he was really full of confidence after the winner against Spurs.

Quite often the debate varies between he 'being rubbish but we don't have anyone else', to 'give him time as he is still just a kid'..
Personally, I always had the belief if that every manager he has ever played for select him ( and let's face it, we have had quite a few) and they are the 'experts' and see him training every day, there HAS to be an inert talent which just needs time and coaching. Their view is the one I have always believed in.
Time will tell of course and things could change, but why wouldn't we want one of our own players to be a success?
