his stock is high because most people look at his stats & ignore his performances. His goal return is good but look at them, 90% tap ins. Useless in one on ones, poor movement, no link up play, can’t beat a man. The numbers flatter him. Hardly scored in the second half of the season.

he scored in 13 games. Missed lots of chances and was useless in others. He is a threat in the 6 yard box, nowhere else.

Apparently we didn’t make enough chances for him (if only he could make some for himself).

Kane only scored in 18 games and didn't score in 20. He also had worse shooting accuracy and a worse shooting success rate In a team that is better than ours so creates more. Your arguments are deluded.

DCL was told to play in the 6 yard box by his manager. He did that. Unfortunately for him, the service dried up as we had a massive injury crisis and a manager who lost interest. Other than a very few elite level of striker, most do not create their own chances. You clearly haven't watched him as he wins nearly every header and tries to bring people into play by holding it up when he has to drop deeper.

He isn't an elite level striker, no, but we haven't been in Europe for years, so how are we meant to attract one?

Oh and Vardy, that you were banging on about, only scored in 11 games, and apparently he is levels above DCL.

You do realise that players playing in certain positions can have different profiles yeah? Dom's movement & link up play is a strength of his along with his goals... so what are actually going on about?
