No what’s ridiculous is the continuous slating of a lad who’s improved his game tenfold in the 5 years he’s been at the club. Compare the DCL of 2016 rushed into the first team when not ready to 2021 England Euro 2020 squad member and it’s poles apart

Genuinely can't believe this conversation is still going days later. Why are you even engaging with this guy. Clearly too stubborn to admit his criticism of the young man a couple of seasons ago has been proved wrong.

I was one of those a few seasons ago who thought he was going to be championship at best. He is no world beater but the rise in performance and ability is frightening. If he can improve the same again and finish more chances, take pens, he would be on 25-30 goals, no problem.

We beat Scotland tonight he starts on Tuesday so for that reason I am praying we win as it will be so good to see him start in a tournament for England when you consider how raw he was even 2 years ago. Made so much improvement since and I think there is more to come too.
