I' d have liked th we team to have played a game that meant we could have brought him on and tried to turn the Italians round higher up the pitch, for such an attacking squad, that was poor

Could see him get the boot from the team after this tbh, Southgate now has a ton more power to do as he sees fit. Especially after the stuff going around from DCL's camp at his confusion from being left out of the squad entirely for some of the games

Sterling left on too long as was Kane. Should have at least replaced one of them in extra time but not to be. Maybe Southgate seen something amiss with him and that s why he didn't play him
