First time my team looks like it’s going to be completely Everton free , sad indictment.

You are getting on the back of a young man who (apart from the one genuine consistent 20 goal a season striker we have had in lukaku for 3 years) has scored the most goals in a season for us since 1990-1991.

In 30 years, we have had one 20 goal a season striker do it consistently. And now, a player who is closer to that than anyone has been in that time having scored 15, and then 21, is getting a load of grief?

Deluded if you think we are going to go out and just get someone else who can do it when we have done it once in 30 years.

Spot on mate. Could have got more last season too if we hadn’t stopped attacking as a team and just left him up top with no support or chances created. Love Dom

Despite all of the despair (absolutely coming from me as well) Dom and Richy might actually be able to carry us for long stretches of the season if the defense holds up. They don't have the best chemistry or link up play, but there is literally no better combo in the air than these two. Which for me makes selling James sound even crazier. Not to mention the seemingly apathetic attitude towards having a RB that can cross.

I don't think he is an 80m machine either. But some of the comments on here are ridiculous. And he may never be a consistent 20 goal a season striker, but people acting like he is useless and we can get better when evidently we can't.

And that's a very sensible post, problem is though certain people DO think he's an 80m player and capable of going to the likes of United and city at the moment which is literally is a million miles away from atm

I don't know matey you brought it up? I couldn't care less either, so I'm not even sure what you point is being honest.

I mean he IS in the video, just doing individual work away from the others. Clearly still struggling with the toe though because he's wearing trainers and not using a ball.

Then why are you bringing up what he wears?

And being honest the way finished last season he deserves some pelters like the whole squad did. They were ALL terrible from about march onwards.
