As fans we don’t do this nearly enough. If it’s not good enough for one player it shouldn’t be good enough for another. Held to the same standards since they are all well paid professionals.

I get that, but he never looked like offering us anything so keeping him on for the full match was crazy. As you say, one for the manager to answer.

I dont care how fit he is. That wasn't good enough. He couldn't even hold a ball up properly. His touch was abysmal. Not acceptable standard.

not being match fit doesnt stop you from doing the basics, like controlling a ball or putting at least a bit of effort it.
