I don’t see Arsenal coming in for him tbh. They are a ball playing team. Maybe Newcastle if they want to look like they are upgrading on Wood.

Is DCL an upgrade? Maybe just his age.

I’m not sure we can criticise his attitude tbh, it feels like he’s not fit and has had six months or so of nagging injuries.

Maybe that’s his fault for not training right but I see him trying his hardest when he’s playing… he’s just not pulling it off the way he was before.

He also had Digne, James and Sigurdsson putting balls in the box last season… who’s supplying him now?

Townsend, Gray, Gordon, VDB, Dele... He isnt short of options. He has been poor for years just hit a good spell and the numbers looked better than they actually where (multiple goals in games then no goals for weeks), he isnt a game changer just a tap in specialist which we cant afford to have. He offers very little to the team and we are forced to play a certain way to accommodate. We should have sold last year when his value was high. No chance he makes it at Arsenal, City, Man U or Chelsea, their fans would lose patience with him in no time.

Townsend, Gray, Gordon, VDB, Dele... He isnt short of options. Gray and Gordon barely pass or cross, Dele and VDB have been here ten minutes and play centrally so rarely cross either and Townsend has been on the bench most of DCL’s recent cameos I’d say.

Last game we had
Coleman: crap at crossing
Kenny: on his wrong foot
Three center mids not going wide
Gordon and Richarlison who just tried to run through defenders and not cross or pass

I think it’s harsh judging DCL after his best goal return came from playing with Digne, James and Sigurdsson assisting and they’ve all gone

no I see a player disinterested and not applying himself. Disgusting. Going through the motions like we seen with siggy, schneiderlein and countless others.

- kiss much prettier humans
- chest press much more
- play for Everton
- basic thought patterns
- fashion
- maintain an erection
- hold objective thoughts
- look in the mirror and be happy

we are not talking about him putting the finishing touches to moves - we are talking about him jogging round half arsed, not aggressively competing for balls etc. Absolutely awful. He gives the opposition a boost cos they know he's not bothered.

I’ve not seen that at all, I’ve seen a target man/finisher who doesn’t have much else to his game getting zero opportunity to do any of those things the last few times he’s played.

Schneiderlin was an absolute disgrace and Sigurdsson not much better at times - whilst DCL has done f all this season there’s no way I’m lumping him in with those when he’s spent most of it injured and the other load with tactics that don’t play to his strengths

Eight months ago, people on here were saying DCL should start for England before Harry Kane at the Euros, now we are saying sell him because hes a poor player. He is just coming back from a long term injury(do we know the extent of the injury?), he gets minimal service and we expect him to be a world beater. He got the service last season and scored the goals. Give the lad a chance to get back to full fitness- just my opinion like.

He is coming back from a long term injury into a team playing poorly. He clearly isn't fit and can't sprint or leap properly yet.

Of course he is a good player!

He will get plenty of chances, the problem is he fluffs most of them. He is a terrible finisher for a premier league striker.

Brilliant! When they start creating chances for him and he starts missing them we can all get on his back together, I’m ready mate.

Until then, he’s had nothing to work with so I’ll not be getting on his back.
