Except he has improved his finishing. He's a much better finisher than he was 4 seasons ago.

I thought the same thing about him in regards to his first touch and now his hold up play and first touch is pretty decent. I agree that he still doesn't look a natural finisher but he still contributes plenty of goals. I've learnt to not to write him off because I have in the past. Everything about his determination and work ethic suggests to me he hasn't hit his ceiling yet.

He does score goals fair play but he still can't finish, his goals come from his good movement and his excellent ability in the air.

Hardly any of his goals come from good finishing. I wouldn't say he's improved in the 4 years he's been here finishing wise, because he's still terrible at it. That second miss yesterday was horrendous

He did score one at West Ham last season that was a decent finish but I get what you’re saying. He’s a frustrating player to watch for me, shows brilliance in some areas and abject in others.

Basically the opposite of what DCL does, not hit it straight at the keeper.

Didn’t realise both Bamford and tottinghams Son scored more than him last season, Bamford in particular must have been a bit annoyed not getting in the England squad. Pity about Dom’s dry spell I guess prob should have got 20 given his early form.
Hopefully with pens he will be there or there about this season…

Show me where I’ve said dcl should score every chance he gets…. I’ll save you the time.. you find anywhere…. What I would like is for him to make me feel that he has a good chance of scoring when he gets in on goal… at the moment he doesn’t, if you can’t understand that then I give in.

His attitude isn't going to improve his finishing. Good lad and wants to improve, unfortunately he's at an age now where if you can't finish you never going to be able to, you either got it or you haven't. He hasn't and he cost us 2 points yesterday because of it. He'll never in a million years play for a top team he is not good enough

The criticism of Dom is over board. Yes he could do with brushing up on one on one situations he needs to work on a dink or chip finish when he gets in those situations too often he side foots it into the keeper. But it will come he has improved massively in the last two or three seasons, he is superb in the air a good target man and is our main source of goals. He will develop, also we need more options in terms of goals the pressure on one or two players is too much. Most good team's in the league have three or four if not more players who score regularly.

I believe has has improved quite a lot and will keep on getting better. He is still carrying a toe injury. I get the frustration with his one on one finishing but that will come with time and experience. He was probably as shocked as I was Iwobi hit a peach of a ball?

I used to think DCL was overrated but not now. He improves every season. He has just got to develop a mean streak on the pitch.
