But recently, he’s not getting on the scoresheet, nor showing anywhere near the same level of desire or workrate.

I know he’s been injured for A LOT of the season, but pretty much all of his performances since he returned have been complete pish.

You're probably right about the Arsenal bit but not so sure about the star bit. Dont think he has the ability or burning desire to go that far. Far better strikers than him have failed at Arsenal in recent times.

Noticeable how few headers he competes for now too whereas before he was competing for everything in the air. Perhaps concerned about the impact of too many headers can have on life later down the line which is understandable, but its certainly taken something from his game.

Perhaps harsh as Pickford doesn't boot it down field as much as a few seasons ago so fewer opportunities to get his head on it.
