Horribly out of form and contending with terrible service. I am both frustrated and sympathetic to him.
I get the impression that he, like most of this squad, couldn't give a toss. Keep pouring millions into their bank accounts for SFA return.Horribly out of form and contending with terrible service. I am both frustrated and sympathetic to him.
Bit harsh this mate.I get the impression that he, like most of this squad, couldn't give a toss. Keep pouring millions into their bank accounts for SFA return.
GAA players are unpaid, I know Aussie Rules players are really passionate. Sick of these.
Mate, respect but seeing these players jogging around week after week, is doing my Evertonian head in. They are not putting in the effort this Club requires. We are in serious danger of relegation and maybe worse if that happens.Bit harsh this mate.
I get we are all angry and im not singling you out, its a common theme. Whilst im sure most of them couldnt give a toss about Everton, they have professional pride and nobody likes getting beat every week. At times maybe the effort has been lacking, but on the main I think these players are trying, maybe the huge amount of mistakes is them trying too hard? LOL.
Anyway, I do get it, these players have used up a lot of our grace, but personally I think they really would rather not lose every week.
He had a great chance today and put it in the Thames. Richarlison and Gray in the first half flashed crosses across the six yard box and he was nowhere to be seen.
I hate to sound proper.....yer da!This guy once chased down everything now he just strolls about, needs to get his head out of his arse and start working for the team
I hate to sound proper.....yer da!
But this thought crossed my mind yesterday.
I know he has been taught and coached to preserve energy etc under ancelotti, but i've never seen a forward be such a nuisance to the opposition when he first started playing centre forward during our good run under Silva (United 4-0, Arsenal win etc).
You see none of that anymore, which is forgiven when he puts the ball in the back of the net!
There are mitigating circumstances, he gets woeful service (as do richarlison & gordon but they work there socks off).
I dont subscribe to the returning from injury stuff, i saw someon say yesterday it took Eriksen less time to recover from being dead than it did Calvert Lewin.
Unfortunately he looks like a player who knows were his next move will be, and he is already mentally preparing for his next stage of career. I dont blame him for looking elsewere, but i remember when Lukaku's everton career was coming to an end, he didnt shirk responsibility or reign it in. If anything he got more prolific.
I do agree with you, but also if he does want a move he is doing himself no favours at all as the game has moved on now where the top teams really press from the front and this is no longer his game, so I do think other clubs will look and think no thanksI hate to sound proper.....yer da!

Certainly get the feeling he's playing within himself. I'm more inclined to think it's the after effects of his injury.
Never really rated always felt he was massively flawed as a centre forward that said you couldn't argue with his goal stats last season.God knows. But I know we could do with that young lad who had plenty of heart and left defenders knowing they’d been in a game in our perilous position. Regardless of whether he could hit a barn door or not.
He has. Its no surprise, he's not the first elite player to experience similar.I feel like he’s done an interview recently talking about this and trusting his body again. I may have dreamt it through.
