I'd rather have someone on the pitch whose focus is working hard and helping the team win rather than picking out a new handbag. Harsh maybe, he's had some injuries - fair enough, but there is no blood, sweat, and thunder there.

Lad needs to have a look at Wilshere washed up and playing in Denmark for an appreciation of what the ghost of Christmas future might look like.

Wilshere missed multiple years with big injuries. How’s that even relevant?

The service argument is only part of it. Obviously we could provide more service, but he needs to do far more regardless. Antonio didn't exactly get perfect eye of the needle through balls all game, but he fought for everything and was far too strong for our defenders.

DCL barely won a ball all day. He didn't make it a tough day for their centre halves, and he was not sharp in the final third. When we did get a few decent balls in the box, he was nowhere near them.

Bit harsh this mate.

I get we are all angry and im not singling you out, its a common theme. Whilst im sure most of them couldnt give a toss about Everton, they have professional pride and nobody likes getting beat every week. At times maybe the effort has been lacking, but on the main I think these players are trying, maybe the huge amount of mistakes is them trying too hard? LOL.

Anyway, I do get it, these players have used up a lot of our grace, but personally I think they really would rather not lose every week.

All professional sports people care. These players don't care enough though. They come up against opponents who want it more nearly every week, and aren't willing to match them for commitment. It's not harsh, it's based on 7 months of an embarrassing season. I think Gordon could argue he has tried his best all season, maybe Pickford, but after that.... nope.

Got involved with England set up, thought he'd made it and got increasingly focussed on living it up outside of football. Came back from injuries and trotted
around on the pitch without contributing a fraction of what he could. Sounds pretty relevant to me.
Warming same benches makes you special in England?

I do agree with you, but also if he does want a move he is doing himself no favours at all as the game has moved on now where the top teams really press from the front and this is no longer his game, so I do think other clubs will look and think no thanks
I'd guess he already has his move

Or he’s under instruction not to press as much, not to push wide whilst harassing etc. We’re not sure on what Lampard tells him to do in game.
I do semi- agree with this hence why i pointed out, Ancelotti had him saving himself for when the ball got to the penalty area!
I just think when needs must, he can offer more! When was the last time we saw him dominate a centre halve, outjump a defender, or put one of them under pressure!

Let's have it right and call this one without any emotion, just on his contribution to the club in all the time he's been here: he's a 5/10 player. And that's being kind.

If we stayed up now it'd be despite him.

I see every other player out there putting the effort in apart from him.

If I was manager he wouldn't play for Everton again.

I think he goes for 25m this summer, possibly less when we're relegated. Not bothered at all by his sale. He'll probably want to be in London anyway so that he doesn't miss out on any boutique sales on Carnaby Street. Might be a decent punt for Spurs at a low price, good enough backup to Son and Kane. Sell Bergwijn for 25m invest the same money on DCL, although to be fair Bergwijn scores more.

Can you imagine him ever being capable of finishing 5 out of 10 one-on-one efforts with the goalkeeper, or having the ability to dink the ball over an oncoming goalkeeper, or dismantling defenders the way Lukaku did for us? Never in a million years.
