Other people questioning his effort, but don't think that's fair. He doesn't seem to be winning any headers though, which is a bit weird considering that's a pretty big part of his game. I know he was up against Maguire, who doesn't give much up in the air normally, but still...

I just think his overall technique for a premier league player is poor mate. I think he’s been overhyped. He has scored some good goals with his head , the one against Spurs in particular. Other than that, I can’t take to him. He never looks a threat , doesn’t excite me like a forward player should.

Wow, he’s so far off it. Looked gassed by half time. That through ball just before he was taken off, he’d have been on to that last season - was on his heels and didn’t anticipate it. He’s struggling at the moment big time. Used to be such a physical handful of a player to play against. Carlo wanted him to play like Inzaghi and looks like he is. Just playing on the periphery waiting to porch a goal. Shame we’re not AC Milan with Rui Costa, Pirlio and seedorf putting goals on a plate. Needs to do a lot more in this team.
