It’s not that weird seeing as he’s either 20 yards away from where he should be stood or jumps for the header before Pickford has even kicked it and is on the way down before the ball reaches him .
 
Culpable for the second goal on Wednesday, he showed on one occasion today what sprinting and closing down can do.

But again, pathetic performance. Was a joke. In a relegation scrap you need 11 men battling, and simply put, he’s not up for it.

I’ve said the same for ages - even from the 2nd half of last season.
He’s stopped being an all action type player who wouldn’t give defenders a second in the ball or in the air. Ancelotti came in and decided to change his game to more of an Italian striker, got a few more goals at the start, in the England squad, and now has decided (& I think it’s his decision to now play this way) that he doesn’t need to run, tackle, ‘waste energy’ as he wants to be the one touch goal poacher Carlo said he should.

It’s to the detriment of his overall game now and he is no longer an Everton player. He needs to rediscover that hunger he once had or sell immediately.

To me he no longer serves Everton, he serves Dominic Calvert Lewin. I’m happy for him and his high heels & handbags, to do one.

He’s lost a yard of pace. You can tell he’s not fully fit and moving properly. Thought he actually started growing into the game more in the second half.
Think all the shouts to sell him are bananas personally.
 
Also struggling to think of the last time we put a decent ball into the box. We crap our pants when given time in the final third.
