I think he's having a combination of struggling to get sharp, and a mental battle

Because yesterday he looked so technically off it he couldn't control the ball, I don't think I seen him do 1 successful pass?

I'm all for giving him a chance but I think he needs to accept it has to be next season now as we don't have the time to waste getting up to speed. Rondon would be better in this moment

Which shows how bad he has been since coming back if we think Rondon would be a better option.

Under Ancelotti he looked like a top notch centre forward just two levels below the very best.

Effort and dedication like we saw from him in the past, and now with Gordon...could have taken him to be a £100mil value player one level below the best.
2 levels below the very best last season?

He scored a few headers in the first half of season when the game plan was get to the line and swing a cross in.

After Jan, the goals dried up massively.

To say he could be world class with some effort is just pure delusion. The lad still can’t score a 1-on-1 at 25.

We’ve got another 10 days before the Leicester game. Work with the team on the training ground. He will have heard the reception following his sub compared to the Ovation Delph got. If that doesn’t hurt his pride a little and provoke a positive response then he shouldn’t be playing football, certainly not No 9 for Everton.

However he did have a big part in the goal.. tackle, tackle, pointing the way for the pass to Richo... so, good to see something positive!

We really don’t have time this season with just 8 games left to indulge anyone who isn’t prepared to put in the basics of at least breaking into a sweat. I couldn’t care less about his off pitch activities, I’m bothered by what he does in a game which was effectively nothing yesterday. What we know about this set of players is that they do love a bit of “words” instead of “action”. That statement yesterday was tone deaf. We won, everyone else ran themselves into the ground bar him. He knows it hence his attempted face saving post. Hopefully, this will spur him on to at least move from jogging to sprinting. If the past few weeks have shown anything, it’s that it’s Goodison and the fans that are doing more than the players to get us out of this mess. We are prepared to get behind them despite the constant dross they serve up away from home. I mean, if Iwobi can turn fan sentiment through sheer graft then anyone can. The situation is too dire to “give time” to or tolerate whingers - we’ve heard it all before.
