He has been pretty decent. I’d have loved a striker with twenty goals this season.
I'd snap somebody's hand off for him to rekindle even 1/2 his form of last season or even the yea before because we need goals, urgently.
I think we're all aware that he's likely to be gone come the summer regardless of where we are, but I hope he can hold his side of the bargain up before then.
However, three goals all season with two being penalties and recent ambling around suggest that may be unlikely.
Its a shame its come to this.
We finally had a number 9 we could be proud of.
But then the fans started giving him grief for his choice of clothes, abusing him for a few media appearances. Then the jarg ITKs said he wanted out and most turned. Sadly this season he has suffered serious injuries and he hasnt been able to prove people wrong so the hate grows.
It was the same with Lukaku.
Next season we will probably have Straq up top who people will love.
We are where we deserve to be as a fanbase.

I don’t give a flying one what he does in his spare time, and I don’t hate him, but the bottom line is he’s been totally ineffective when we are desperate for survival.

We get what we deserve, hopefully a new Marcus Bent will be signing up for next season. Dobbins looks like Bent mk2, and people want him starting, so it's already begun.

I like him he's a good striker now, I just don't think he is as good is made out. He has had one and a half good seasons. The issue is we miss him massively because we have no other target man forward near his level or who can even fill in . That's another issue with our squad. His injuries have been very unfortunate as I doubt we would be where we are now if he hadn't been out, what he wears Is up to him more power to him, but his personal brand building is a bit tone deaf considering the situation we are in and the season he has had due to injury.
Im not even claiming hes an elite Striker.
But at his best I think hes a great player to lead the line for us, whether injury, head turned, means he will never recapture that form, that granted he had fleetingly, we will find out, at this stage, its doubtful. I think he will move on in the Summer, lets hope we invest the money wisely.
