Conflict of interest if he is joining arsenal next season and arsenal need to win their last game for 4th spot and we need a win to stay up?

Would you start him against arsenal knowing that if he scores he could prevent the team he will be joining from playing in the champions league?

No doubt he is a professional but surely something like that does come into your mind

Lets blame the fella who hasnt played.

I knew it would be the fans fault , matter of time. lol think he's been a very good striker for us, bought him for peanuts, improved each year and scored his fair share of goals. Fan frustration most of this, with most of the team either injured or out of form, he's not alone, he's hardly played this season through injury and when he has, he has looked half the player, no one can deny that, whether it's fitness, or his head has been turned nobody knows. But the constant stories of him moving to Arsenal etc, have never been refuted by him and that again leads to frustration, right now we need someone fit and firing, we are in desperate trouble, goals are at a premium in our team and fans are definitely rattled, look around the team, how many of our players have been scapegoats this season, almost all of them.

He’s not joining Arsenal.

Its a shame its come to this.

We finally had a number 9 we could be proud of.

But then the fans started giving him grief for his choice of clothes, abusing him for a few media appearances. Then the jarg ITKs said he wanted out and most turned. Sadly this season he has suffered serious injuries and he hasnt been able to prove people wrong so the hate grows.

It was the same with Lukaku.

Next season we will probably have Straq up top who people will love.

We are where we deserve to be as a fanbase.

The fans loved Lukaku. Get his name out of your mouth.

Hopefully 4th is decided already by then

Yes, people like you wont even admit he had a good season.

Call it a purple patch and him a tap in merchant.
It was a purple patch though? He scored 11 of his 16 PL goals before Christmas. He scored 5 from Christmas until May?

He is a tap in merchant? It's not knocking him or the role, because I've watched City desperately need that style of player at times this season. But you should also be able to see that put him one on one or edge of the box etc and odds are, he won't score. He's a very limited striker.

Blaming the fans and trying to dress it up as it's all our fault and we've all jumped on him for his fashion, is beyond a joke. Many supported him when he did his first photoshoots, the skirt one in particular had brain-dead idiots giving their views and the majority of blues said the same thing "Don't care what he chooses to do or wear, as long as he's committed and scoring goals.

But since he's come back, he's walked, literally walked around the pitch, looking uninterested. If you can't see that, then you must be in an obstructed view.

There's a reason fans are clapping Iwobi every game, he's (finally) working for the shirt. If DCL played on Sunday and showed the same, he'd get a standing ovation too. But he's switched off and already packed his bags. It's not always the fans fault.

Agree with the walking thing, he hasn't broken a sprint once since he's come back.

I'd also question his jumping for headers.

Surprised at dcl seemed a reasonable professional but this season he’s been awful and his attitude stinks. Got some ego for a bloke with one decent season behind him. If he has checked out and leaving this club to sink it’s unforgivable

I’m not particularly a big DCL fan - think he has something about him but not the end of the world if he goes. I don’t think there’s been any evidence that he has a poor attitude though?

All I have seen is that he started the season ok after having no pre-season/ has obviously had a bad injury and then massively struggled to get back to anything resembling match fitness so his input in games has been marginal at best.

I think the best we can hope for now is a few sub cameos in last twenty of the remaining games.

Because he's been injured and is still injured and just hasn't been at it/got the ability to push through yet.

But we're a better team with him in it because him being there helps our other better players have more space.
