Quickly singled out as a strong and nippy left back, with good overlapping skills, by the then-Huddersfield Town manager Bill Shankly, Wilson signed professional forms with the club in 1952 after his two-year army posting, and made his debut against Manchester United in October 1955.Two years later, Ray Wilson was Huddersfield's established, first-choice left back.
Fake news - we all know there was no football before 1992

I think it's fair to say that Wilson and Cohen were a genuine pair of overlapping full backs in that 1966 world cup team. As Ramsey set up without wingers, Wilson and Cohen getting forward was essential. They were both very good defenders as well.

Any way back on topic. I really couldn't care less what any of them wear. Good luck to Dominick. A much better hobby to have than getting drunk and driving a car, like quite a few players over the years.

He didn’t down tools though did he. lol

For me looked like he saunted through some games and looked disinterested could be he was rushed back too soon and his issues he's spoke about since woukd have been a factor we all see things differently though pal just want him chasing lost causes and and bullying teams as he was doing in ancelottis season here

Genuinely like the kid hope he has a blinder of a season as it will only benefit the club

He did
However some may argue if he had turned up in 5 other games and scored

That goal may not have been the goal that kept us up
The lad was struggling with an injury and some off field issues, he wasnt at his best, but at no point did he down tools.

You surely saw the difference when he returned the 2nd time and was injury free and mentally sound, he performed.

But anyway, if he stays fit hes gonna ram peoples words down throats this season, this time next year you will all be begging he isnt stolen by a top, top club.

All of the above.

The only people who care about it is our own fans.

Ever thought maybe you are just getting on a bit?

Liverpool (as in the city) is the absolute worst for crushing any form of personal identity. It's really weird.
