I think it would be too risky to straight replace DCL with the relatively unproven Broja, with Rondon the next in line. Although maybe if we could bring in an additional experienced CF on loan while Broja bedded in, or even Belotti on a free, it could be worth considering. Especially if there are any ongoing concerns about DCL's fitness.

Fully agree but Cornet could also add goals from wide and Dele could cover as striker also. But I fully agree we would need a better back up option than Rondon.

Personally I’d like to see some goals spread amongst the team also.

Yeah, there is something to be said for having a range of options rather than one focal point, even if none are individually are as good as DCL. Especially as today is a reminder that we may have to keep managing his injury issues.
 

I’d sell him if we could get £40m or more and re use that £40m on improving the squad it’s a no brainer I think belotti on a free would be good business and cornet, whatever it is we need change and fast if DCL spends anymore than 10 games out this season we’re in trouble because selling him is the only opportunity to bring in new players otherwise it’s free transfers and loans.

Apparently some kind of pre arranged agreement with Q magazine for a photo shoot down in London today. He thought Blackpool was on the Saturday not the Sunday so mixed up his diary/shooting dates.

All good though and has made himself available for Fridays match against Ukraine.
