Like I say I am not his greatest fan but he still played 15 games for us and scored 3 from open play. Not brilliant and you could argue the service wasn't there but regardless a poor return

He wasn't great, no, but stepped up when it mattered. Got THE goal that mattered, and is our only 'reliable' member of the squad that can score goals at the highest level.

If he was crocked why play him. He obviously thought he he was back to fitness otherwise is was detrimental to play unfit. Regardless he is a 1 in about 4 games goalscorer. We can do better iMO. Did I mention I don't like him and don't rate him that high

If we could get a substantial fee for dcl I'd take it even though I don't have full confidence in our recruitment team to find a suitable replacement. I'm just concerned about the potential resurgence of his past injury. He still needs time to get reacquainted to the pitch but he was looking pretty underwhelming in that MLS friendly. Well, he's had one season of a really bad injury. Gray didn't play for exactly the same reason.
You cannot sell both Richarlison and DCL - our only two goal scorers - in the same window, after we stayed up by the skin of our teeth, when we already need to add about 5 players to the squad as it is. And the two players are the ones that scored in the game that kept us up, too.
He looked underwhelming in that MLS friendly? Mate, we lost 4-0. Who didn't look underwhelming?

He tore his quad ffs
You know, that injury that kept him out for 4 months fully, and then when he came back he kept getting flare ups because of it.
It was a very similar injury to the one Gbamin suffered in September 2019
