But why are you assuming he’s not playing because of his mental health?

Just something you’ve fabricated out of the blue or what?
No it’s what I’ve read on here I’d seen a load of posts about it before I mentioned it, and if apparent scans couldn’t reveal an injury what’s up with him? He’s already come out and mentioned it himself so with his season and injuries this year it’s quite possible he’s struggling with it again doesn’t just go away it’s always there just need to have a coping mechanism for it whether that’s a therapist self help or medication.

So speculation and nothing more?

I highly, highly, highly doubt that anyone on this forum has any information on DCLs confidential scan results.

Mine is mote frustration about him dont have any problems what he is doing off the pitch. I still have no idea what is going on with him had been alot of stories of it, dont want see any player suffer with mental health, and if the injury is something he cant shake off. The only thing i have questioned is the desire for him to play like mina who i think gets any short of knock and wont continue to play on even tho he would for his country. Is the club who have made this situation what is is and well the battle for relegation is not an excuse to the likes of simon jordan to say what he said,
Seeing what he seems to be like - his interviews, his off-season work on his fitness, what Southgate thought of him etc - I think it's likely his injury was not managed well or in a clever way and the combination of injury, loss of confidence and maybe not sophisticated management has led us to this position. it is also just bad luck sometimes. I bet we can name at least 10 players right now in 10 seconds who have been super talented, apparently fit and motivated but it just doesn't work out

another thing I feel bad for the fella is that he was no.2 to Kane to go to the World Cup up until early 2021, and then it all fell apart for him. that must have played a role in affecting is confidence too. I know he has to get over it, and I hope he does, cos he could still get in the England squad ahead of people like Wilson and Ivan Toney. and if he keeps training with and getting a few subs appearances and friendly appearances for England it'll only help us as well!

He lost confidence because he's no longer second fiddle to kane for England? Kinell mate 99.99999% of English strikers must be low on confidence.

He's been injured comes back, gets injured and repeat for 2 years, that's why he's most likely feeling down because he can't stay fit.

Baring an absolute miracle, he won't be playing second fiddle to kane again, well better strikers then DCL even when fit.

nooo
I meant like he must have been thinking 'I'm going to the World Cup' and then it all fell apart. that's one more thing he lost when he kept getting injured.

I bet he's thrilled to have come out saying it now when he can't even have an injury without suspicion

I honestly can't understand the amount of hate this lad gets. As far as we know, he's an excellent pro, looks after himself, engages well with the fans, came here as a young lad and developed into a decent premier league player and aeems like a genuinely nice lad.

Yet here we are.

I don't think other injury prone players get the frequency of vitriol that DCL gets so that just leaves...a few quirky clothes choices? Really? Is that all it takes for some to hate/post abuse?? If so, that says a lot about you.
