2022/23 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

He is training

Not sure this means anything for tomorrow's game, Dyche mentioned Vinagre had been injured too and was recovering and he is the only other player in these images, so looks more like individual training than him being back with the full group. Dyche didn't give any real hope Dom might feature and tbh I'm not sure why they are teasing photos of Dom the day before the game, it'll only get people's hopes up.

Probably not for tomorrow but hopefully soon. I dont see any reason he cant get some minutes in the 21s. Only way to get back to fitness and sharpness is in match scenarios

Seems Dyche is ensuring he is fully recovered before he returns, a fit Dominic Calvert-Lewin for the last 5 or 6 games greatly increases our chances of staying up.
Honestly, if he comes back fit and manages five or six full 90s before end of the season it just solidifies to me how much better a manager Dyche is than Lampard or Benitez.

Those two had no other idea what to do without Dom and rushed him back whenever he could jog. It was so obvious he wasn’t fit in some of the games he started under Lampard I felt bad for the lad because he obviously wants to do his best.

Dyche has come in, realised the situation and said to Dom ‘we’ll make it work without you, you just get 100% and let me know when you’re ready to play at your best again’. In the meantime Dyche has had us in top half of the league form without a recognised premier league striker and now maybe Dom’s ready to be back at his best…

Everton just posted this and he appears to be in full training. Maybe he’s just doing the fitness stuff as they don’t show much ball work or small sided games etc but would seem he must be close to being back

Club is smart to keep his injury/status to themselves. Make the teams we are playing guessing if we are going to have him available or not.

It’s an entirely different strategy for our opponent if he’s playing or gray is up top.
