Better, but I think people just have to temper expectations he will show up in mid-season form. His first couple matches back are likely to really frustrate a lot of people with too high expectations.

If he sneaks a couple of goals that bring points most fans will be well satisfied.

Ive been saying for 12months we needed to replace him, but we didnt, so here we are, still hoping he gets fit cos we have nothing else.

Im not sentimental, im a realist, we have a better chance of survival with a FIT DCL.

Our chances of survival are unchanged - because we know - dont we - that if he plays this weekend he wont be seen for another couple of months. And then the season is over.

I hope he comes on against Fulham and smashes them all over the shop, I really really do. If he contributes that's great. But I have no illusions about him doing so or even if he does remaining available to do it again. And I think I speak for 99% of the posters on this forum on that.
