I'm very wary of this focus on DCL. We've done alright without him. To have him in the side now (not that it'll happen anyway) would disturb us.

You have to cope with change, injury, suspension, referrals to PL etc - its part of being a professional footballer, hes the best forward at the club - fit, hes back in the team mate. My only concern would be his match fitness and sharpness, hes been 10 weeks out.

No it won't. I expect him to be on the bench tomorrow and we haven't exactly had many options off the bench this season. Simms at Chelsea is about the only impact I can remember a sub having for us this year.

I think the discussion is moot tbh.

I dont see him back on Saturday or any time this season.
 

But you said he'll never play for us again.
I'm still saying that.

We've done alright without him according to Dave though. Goals for fun without our strikers, rising up the ranks, definitely not relegation form without a striker.

Nah we are absolutely sound and in rampant form.

We've won 1 of our last 7 matches and playing some free flowing, free scoring with our multiple options up top.

It's just greedy of us to be asking for DCL to play a part.
