I’ve found his prolonged absence frustrating, particularly the lack of information which ultimately isn’t his fault . That said I can’t wait to see him back because we need him and I’d absolutely love him to score the goals that keep us up , not that I’d care if mykolenko scored them .

It is important that we manage expectations with Dom. He has been out for a long time, it is unlikely he is going to be sharp and on form on his first game back. Even fit and firing DCL didn’t always play well. He will need time, maybe time we don’t have. The important thing is that we keep him fit and on the pitch as we will have a better chance with him there. Great news.

For me would just give us all a mental lift players and fans having him on the pitch. I hope the dyche has done what he did with keane, made him fit and is just match fitness needed

There's a part of me that thinks it's laughable how much he gets lauded among sections of our fanbase. He's about a 1 in 4 striker. Hardly clinical.

BUT

This is precisely the kind of news you wouldn't want to hear if you were a fan of Forest or Leeds or Leicester. He's 5x the player Maupay is and if he plays anywhere near the level he did against Arsenal, he's ideal for Dyche and what he wants to do.
