My concern was we would have the Calvert Lewin of last season, who looked way off it, both in terms of his best, and what is required. A guy who had no trust in his body and was playing within himself.
He had a couple of really big leaps which gave me some confidence. Overall I thought he was ok, and he really helped the team when he was on. Still a long way to go, but hopefully he can build on that.
Great to see him come on.
The next step is seeing he’s still available on Saturday.

You’d like to think they’ll cameo him between now and the WC, then use the Australia tour to get him match fit.
All depends on if he thinks he has a shot of maki by the England squad so pushes Frank to give him more minutes.
Don't see him starting for another couple of weeks at least tbh. We need to see him come through training and be able to play another 20 mins or so next week before we can start to ramp up his minutes.

Not training yet at same pace than others with reduced number of sessions according to lampard. They obviously taking it very slowly with him so fair to assume that he is unlikely to start for a few weeks still. Once is fully fit, how likely it is that he will remain so for the rest of the season. It seems obvious club has made a huge gamble on him being fully fit and firing so that richy loss wouldn't be too painful for us. Its not paying off and not being able to sign richy replacement for obvious financial reasons might prove painful in the upcoming matches. We need a fit attacking players ready for January 1st.
