They are in the most important part of the appeal now, they are looking at the colour of the shirt and are now scrutinising the badge, to ensure its not Chelsea.
The only thing they are considering is what gives the least bad publicity: sticking with it, or changing their minds.
The appeal will clearly be declined. If they accept the appeal it confirms their VAR system as an utter shambles. They made their decision to reject the appeal as soon as it arrived on their desk but they need to wait a few weeks to make it look like it has gone through a process.

It’s for another thread/other forum (probably current affairs) but if you go into every player thread and search the word lazy, there are no surprises. It’s not people’s fault, it’s a media narrative and use of the word ingrained in stereotypes and cultural depictions in the media through generations.
