DCL’s the best number 9 at the club by a mile in terms of his all around play and how much better we are when he plays. However, from a purely emotional point of view I just can’t fully get behind him knowing that he’s not signing a new deal. I just think it’s a really bad look from a lad who I’ve always had down as being sound and quite down to earth.
