Well I think it’s a bit sad and a little bit upsetting that some fans clearly want him to fail so they don’t look silly on the Internet.

What’s upsetting you is that people have a more realistic view than you on the performance of our main striker. It’s making you look a little silly that you’re suggesting people want him to fail. Nobody does. Everyone to a man wants him to be scoring. But, we’re not too doe-eyed not to call a spade a spade. He’s completely out of form, and when you’re out of form it’s hard work, steely determination and hard yards that bring you the bit of good fortune. Unfortunately Dom isn’t busting a gut to make up for the goal drought.

We wouldn’t be there if we had players who could cross or pass in the final third as well but here you are. Camped out here in a circle of hate over one player.

It’s just really weird and I must say, suggests something else at play.

That’s a bit unfair suggesting something else is at play. Almost a get out of jail card because the general consensus is different to your view. There no circle of hate and no hidden agenda - just a huge concern that our striker isn’t striking (well, that’s not true really is it...he’s permanently on strike from putting a few onions in the bag).

I just said I look forward to his next shoot (I think it’s refreshing that a footballer has an healthy hobby outside of the sport) and someone said he looks silly wearing skirts whilst not scoring goals.

He’ll probably miss his next shoot.

Shooting doesn’t seem to be his thing at the moment.
