Joey, I like you for your Pictures etc but you cannot continue to protect a so called striker that hasn't scored in twenty games.
He is taking us down through lack of instinct/ability. When was the last time we stuck with a striker who had such a barren run?
Not protecting him - it's the whole team the tactics - & fans come on blaming one player - over 50 % of our goals come from set pieces - the service to any forward is poor - Hoof ball is not what I expect with our goalkeeper our so-called main outlet = HOOF BALL - DCL was having to drop back into a non-existent midfield ... no creation - yes he missed the target twice - so did other players tonight we were absolutely rubbish tonight - & were lucky to get 1 point - look at our Manager first before DCL

I agree largely with what you are saying but DCL is defo letting us down this season

The team struggles in the final third, yet some seem to believe it's all Dom's fault. He won most of his aerial battles tonight, provided flick-ons, etc., but there is no one to capitalise on this crucial aspect of his game. We have a team problem in this regard

He's been crap and so have all the players around him. So many other strikers can make things happen themselves or worry the opposition. Best we get from DCL is a decent shift and winning a few headers.

& missed just like DCL .....

Let's face it, if DCL at Arsenal would have a field day not in that EFC set up which is just hoof ball - one player in the box ....

Cuckoo land, he wouldn't get anywhere near arsenal women's team, never mind the mens.
A whole 2 efforts, wow - The other lot set up chances galore in 15 minutes .....

Out of curiosity, how many chances does ge have to miss in one game before its actually his fault?

Thats not true. Many people on here go into detail about the overall issues of the team. But he does get chances. In any team in any league in the world if a forward hasnt scored for over half a season they will get looked at.

They were chances, but not sitters like the star City CF muffed at the weekend ....

Haaland did miss chances joey yer, but he's also the leagues top scorer even having missed a good chunk of games, so I don't see your point?

Is your point that even good strikers miss chances? But they also score them as well.

Dcl just misses them.

And Tawkowski did his job and snuffed them out. 2 chances for a striker is a lot mate.....especially if the striker can't make any for himself. Excuses for his shortcomings need to stop mate. He's dire.
He missed an easier header late on, but overall he had a good game - if posters cannot except we are playing Hoof ball relegation football - with our keeper taking over as our main outlet - keep off the ale .....
