It’s not and it’s blatantly obvious to see. I’m also not hounding the lad for it, he’s not an Everton fan, he has no connection to this club, why would he give up such an advantageous position?
You see it in players loads, Ben White is the easiest example, he just doesn’t like football but is good at is so has it for a career. Calvert Lewin is the same, except he’s not good at it. Look at it this way, with how he’s playing for what he’s paid do people really expect him to continue playing after we inevitably release him at the end of his contract? Davies was the same except Sheffield United were mad enough to give him a deal, which they now clearly regret.
