….his contract situation has to be of interest. My understanding is he’s entering his final 12 months and he’s in a decent position to run it down and move for free next summer.

Something to consider, especially if a club puts an offer in.
H would do wonders at arsenal if he could stay fit - just what they need IMO the way he holds the ball up plus the amount of chances he would get to convert.....

Or, he's finally found some form, is enjoying his football once again and he (and we) are reaping the rewards?

Thats an issue that cant be brushed under the carpet again. This is 3 years in a row now we've got small patches of form here and there. For whatever reason, injuries or form, we cant get a season out of him.
I think its now 3 years we havent had a player reach double figures in goals.

Being realistic, the best strikers (well, it applies to any position really) are often those who are more often than not on form, than they aren't.

Every player goes through phases, but the best offer consistency alongside their ability. We need to get Dom into a position is getting 10+ goals in a season.

You look at the likes of Solanke at Bournemouth, and how much his goals have pushed them up the table.

Did ypou see the service he got ? In a team like Arsenal, he would be a top scorer in the Prem

Stated on here quite a few times. If he got 12/13 goals a season and put himself about as a number 9 for the rest of it there wouldnt be an issue.
His stats last season. 2 goals. 1 assist. Season before, 5 goals, 1 assist. This year. 6 months without a goal.
Its so slim pickings.

come on joey. He's not a natural finisher. Put it on his head and he'll score a few.
He'd score a few more at arsenal. But then would nearly every forward playing for any team who are top of a table.
