A free transfer changes the picture so much for a player like DCL imo. If clubs have to pay to sign him, the queue is nonexistent, as seen in the summer. But if he becomes available on a free, then I think some of the biggest clubs in the world will be interested, and I think he knows that.

Hah, DCL loves your optimism but look at the list of strikers in the world. Bayern have zero interest in him no matter how cheap he is. There are countless trees available every year and only a small few sign for the big clubs

My understanding is that Bayern only have two strikers, the youngest of which will be 32 come the start of next season, and the other will be 36.
Inter Milan have just paid 8 million Euros for a 35 year old Arnautovich for some reason.
I know that DCL isn’t going to be the number one striker at these clubs. But I think he could get a squad spot and a seat on their bench. I also think that DCL would prefer to be on Inter’s bench, than in Everton’s first 11.
