He was bailed out by 2 players who are not strikers but are better strikers than him by far. It is criminal to be gifted so many chances at that level and not get near to scoring. 1v1's are rare things in football, he had 2 today. No excuses today can change that. The service people moan about was there in abundance.

It's a genuine shame because he had a great game if you remove the one on ones. I do think deep down he knows this is his level, he'd be dropped instantly if he was playing for Chelsea or Newcastle, he only gets a game every week here because Beto is a donkey.

He's a centre forward not a striker. His role, is, I agree to score goals but he does a lot more in this Dyche side than just that. If he had service like he used to get under Ancelotti then he'd be much more prolific but that's not our style. He should have had 2 today but that's football.Move on, he's doing OK.
