Honestly I'll always look back fondly on his time here.
Was he injured more than most players?
Was he terrible in 1v1s?
Did he phone it in some games?
Yeah.
But he scored and made important goals - RS, Palace, Iwobi v Newcastle, Doucoure v Brighton.
Maybe unpopular opinion.

Beto has scored what? Is it 5 goals in 7 games (not sure) so he has made any goals at the end of the season less important.

Oh there were definitely people on here thinking Isak was definitely off to Arsenal, and Dom was the direct replacement. (In reality, obviously they looked at him to replace Wilson, still may happen)
Personally, I cannot see Moyes sanctioning a new contract esp. given the apparent wage demands associated with it. I'm sure DM has already earmarked several new candidates as his replacement and wouldn't want to put himself in the firing line by keeping a very hit and miss striker and one who is a proven injury liability.
Whilst acknowledging that he has scored goals - and some very important ones - he is unreliable and his goals x clear opportunities presented eg. one on ones with the keeper, failure to get his head or foot to the ball in the six yards box or simply not anticipating suggests to me that he is on the wain. I also accept, however, that for much of the past couple of seasons he has played alone upfront ploughing a lonely furrow which can't have helped but he needed to take more of the chances which fell to him.
