2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

I strongly believe you will see a different DCL once Dyche is gone, as you will also see a different Everton

I think for both parties it's better to terminate the contract. No matter the manager, he does the odd thing, usually players start performing when they are running out of contract. He seems to have gone with his head as stated many times. For the wages he asks for and is on I expect more.

Moving on, we need to have that natural scorer again that we've been looking for since Lukaku, and no matter the set up, I don't see that in him as sure as I am he had a few more goals in a bit more attacking set up or other teams.

It's not fair to single him out in what has been a horrid season in almost all departments offensively. He's definitely part of the problem. It's also the decline in the quality of players around him he had under Carlo and the change of style that's changed under the managers since Carlo and doesn't really match his strengths.

It would be a tough job for anyone in this Everton side but he lacks the goal threat needed primarily and just doesn't have the hunger that we need. Beto showed desire when he came on, whether he is good enough or not. He's also far more of a goal threat than Lewin and if he was given the amount of minutes Lewin had in the last 2 seasons he would have easily outscored him.

Personal and professional pride. It's the difference between quality employees and garbage ones in any workplace environment.
8 years graft says different

The clubs still trying to secure a contract

I think they’re probably better placed to question pride and professionalism

Andy knows best

Yep my old boss used to say to people who were leaving, keep your work standards high because if you just slack off people will only remember the slacking off and not the work you did before then. This season his attitude has stunk and it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Aerial duels won down 30%, ground duels down 25% this season is a reflection of what we're all seeing. Unfortunately some people still seem reluctant to acknowledge this.

They haven’t offered him what he wants so seems like there more than happy to let him go ,one of the positions we should be aiming to improve on too so I agree with the clubs decision
