2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Dom is one of the few players that has survived since the Koeman era. He grew up with crap for his entire career. The first few years can make and break you. While he had a few bright spots here and there, something is just missing from his game. He does not have that instinct that a striker does and even in his best goalscoring season he really went missing for a long portion.

I don't blame him for the way things went, but I think it's time we say our farewell and he sees a change of scenery. It did not work our here for me. Maybe he can find something at another club. If we don't sell him, he should be dropped unless he proves he deserves the spot. Moyes needs to do what Dyche could not and find solutions.

I don’t think DCL will turn into Salah with Moyes as manager. But you’d have to think he puts up a bunch before the end of the season if the strategy changes and he gets support up top. This should reinvigorate him. Depending on what he truly wants, he’s auditioning to stay or leave. He’s going nowhere sitting on two goals.

Moyes ' biggest problem was always strikers.

The rumour doing the rounds was they were doing corner routines in training, every ball was hitting Dom defending at the near post (showing how crap the routine was) so Dom piped up about trying something different, Dyche refused so at the next attempt Dom apparently chested the ball down, did a couple of keepy ups and volleyed it away so was dropped with the reasoning being he had an ‘ankle injury’

I remember the rumour at arteta got dropped for having a argument with moyes and hibbo knocked him out. Thi k it was for a derby game and arteta was in the stands with a massive black eye

If you look at it more or less ever since DCL became our main striker we've been battling relegation.

Might just be a coincidence. either way you look at it i dont think hes good enough
