If you're good enough then you're old enough
..at this moment in time he isn't good enough. He could do with going to a championship side on loan and leare to look after himself a bit more on the pitch. Strengthen him up and learn that in football you are going to take a few knocks.

He gets zero service. Sigurdsson and Rooney can't get up to support him. Not once is there a little ball around the corner or a through ball for him to run on to. Nothing. He was on his own today, with no creativity behind him.

Ok then get rid. He's not good enough at the moment, is it his fault he's playing in a poor side with no craft or drive or pattern?

I never said the circumstances were his fault did I. .. I merely pointed out that he is not good enough to be starting up top for us at the moment. People scoff at the idea of Shane long or troy deeney. .. at the moment they are twice the player this lad is.

Should be pretty obvious from a TV screen too mate to be fair.

Is that because they are 2 players ? Anyway it's about personal opinion but if we ever paid big money for either of the 2 you mention I would despair, WTF would Deeney do isolated up front in our team.
Perhaps we should concentrate on bigger problems likke Siggurdson and Rooney being virtual spectators for 80% of each game.

This thread is about Calvert Lewin you angry meff. Nobody mentioned lashing big money on any of the other 2 players mentioned. They were merely examples of perceived lower echelon premier league strikers who both would do a better job than Lewin at moment.
 
Just another on the long list of strikers that we never create chances to actually strike.

Feel for the kid. In the long run this enforced role on him will be good for him.
