DCL looks like he could play all season and score about 3 goals.

Put Niasse up there with Wayne.

..oh, ok. I could live with that.

Only thing I would add is Niasse looks most effective off the bench but I wouldn’t dismiss your suggestion. Nothing else has worked.

To qualify my comment- the entire team is utter gash. Which isn’t helping DCL, I don’t think he’s PL quality however

Played well when he came on, won a few headers and held the ball up when needed. Good header for his goal.

The Reds don’t have a target man but they have quality, pace and movement in the top third.

DCL isn't strong enough to play as a proper target man. He's relatively poor in the air when matched against someone of comparable height.

I think his strength has developed, looks more of a 'man' this season

He seems to lose 50\50 headers against defenders to me most of the time. I think it'd be more noticeable if DCL was a strong player as he'd hold up the ball far easier than he does.

All about opinions I guess but to me DCL doesn't play like a target man he likes to play off the defender and take it past them.

..I see him as a definite target man. Players like Niasse exploit the space beyond him.
