..I see him as a definite target man. Players like Niasse exploit the space beyond him.

I dunno, he seems happier to me when he doesn't have his back to the goal and can take the ball past defenders on the deck.

Anichebe played much more like a traditional target man, even if he wasn't that good.

Great to see the lad get a goal today. At any other “top 6” club, he’d be nurtured & fed in gently.

It’s not his fault he’s not a ready made Lukaku replacement. I still think he has a big future.

Like Niasse he works really hard off the ball. When he came on both him and Niasse caused a few problems for their defenders. Took the goal well.

They did against Burnley. Like most things we've tried this season, it didn't work. Worth another go though. Said ages ago Niasse needs to be starting every week.

Certainly against Palace we should be able to get away with this formation. Wouldn't play that against Man City like

I absolutely love this kid and I cannot explain why. So satisfying to see him score at the weekend. Hope he starts up with Niasse against Palace.
