Would love to see DLC and Lookman terrorising the opposition defence tomorrow night.

Neither have scored a goal in the Prem away from Goodison (and then it’s 4 between them in a year). But they are going to ‘terrorise’ Newcastle.

He's a kid playing in a massively unimaginative team set up though? I think he is a fine prospect who will become a regular first team player if and when he ever gets a regular partner!

What constitutes “PL level”? Always wondered this.

Last 3 games he has won two penalties, scored and had an assist. Not bad at all

Whether he’s currently good enough to get Everton where we want to be is a different question, but Premier League level yes.

I think he’d be playing for Huddersfield, West Ham, Brighton, Palace, Swansea, Newcastle and West Brom at least. Granted 3 of them won’t be Premier League level come may, but still.

How can you not? He's been involved in the most everton goals, gets assists, beginning o score and wins penalties for us.

The lads been very very good.

Falls back into the wonderful everton mentality of every single player is good enough if the manager puts him in the team no matter what. The lad isn't that good of a striker , he has hardly scored and his good play is usually from a hoof up the pitch to him.we spent 140 million in the summer and lewen magically is good enough ?

I'm not saying he shouldn't be playing, I'm saying come January he shouldn't he starting any more games for a good while if we want to show any ambition from what is left from the season

Wasn't really answering the question I asked but alright.

The main point is really that we've ended up with him as our main forward and without his contributions this season we'd still be down the bottom.

I think some are just sick of him never getting any credit for what he DOES do and not what he DOESN'T.

No. Where did I say that? I personally didn’t say he was “good enough”. I like him but we need a striker in January, it’s obvious.

To be honest mate I haven't got a clue. From a club that apparently bids for Cavani and Costa and fails to bring any striker in, with allardyce in charge , your guess is as good as mine

Look if we don't sign anyone then the lad should be given a chance of course, I haven't said he shouldn't be playing. I just think that if rom hadn't left or we had brought a new striker in, perhaps sandro hits the ground running also, lewen would be back up only and quite rightly. Literally because we had no-one else and sandro still isn't trusted, I think for those few games where he has been good, the many ineffective games have been forgotten
