At least Niasse get chances, DCL get very few doesn't help the attacking if he wins a header he always passes it back to the other team to put us under pressure again, DCL idea of attacking is looking back, Niasses is looking forward. Niasse is a goalscorer DCL isn't, I hope if Unsworths gets the oxford job he loans DCL for next season. But if you like zero attacking football, the DCL is the striker for you, also 7th is still to play for it could even get Europa.

The club will do everything they can not to finish 7th. They will moan and give excuses for the pre season disruption. Believe me.

And as far as Niasse goes the fact he’s our number one says it all. Our whole strike force is championship esq

Should sit and watch Niasse’s movement. DCL has pace, touch, height, strength but zero goal scoring instinct.
Niasse averages 1.7 shots per game, DCL averages 1.6, the two average practically identical shots per game they're totally different strikers, if anything we merge the two together and we'd have some striker.

This season DCL does average a goal every 271 minutes, thats a goal in every three games. For a 20 year old that gives him a great platform to improve on, especially when you consider quite a few people have questions on his goal scoring ability.

Niasse’s goals per minute ratio is far better and that’s even with some glaring misses in there. He gets in positions to get chances. DCL hasn’t done that as of yet.

In a sense, yes.

He's the one player in our team who you can say has had a good season. This time last year he looked so out of place, and we were all wondering how he still got in the team, but he has improved massively and has contributed to so many of our goals this season.

Big improvement from last year, progressing well & will be a formidable player in a few years time....

He can score goals holds the ball up well & has good pace & good in the air, so he has good attributes to make him a very good player....

Will improve every year as he is still only young & will definitely have more of a say next year imo....

Everton have a little gem with DCL so let's watch him develope & support him all the way....

He’s been criticised for his lack of goals for us but we all know how poor the service has been to him. He’s a decent squad player at the moment. Hopefully as he gets older he’ll become more than that.

My humble opinion and guess about him is that he'll never be a well-enough Everton player in his career but of course, he can surprise me and I am up to this challenge. I hope he can prove the opposite but still thinking he can be a decent player for any other lower class PL teams or mid-table/contender teams in other leagues like Spain, Italy etc.

One of the best players in his age group, in his position in the world. It is up to us to develop him. Can't see it happening under Fat Sam.
