I can't quote it because the thread's closed, but do you recall this by any chance @VentureBrosEFC ?

"I will stake my first born child on Sandro and DCL hitting more than 30 combined this year."

"Ok, i'll bite. You can keep the kid, but I'll take a charity bet that they don't."

Lanolin, Sep 1, 2017

Such a cruel world. It was going to be a nailbiting finale to the season, waiting to see if Dominic could bag the 21 goals he needed in the last 3 games, but alas we'll never know now. I feel robbed.
lollol ... I'm a farmer so I'm working 16 hour days until probably the end of May (planting) so in June I'll pm you about what I did.

P.S. good thing I don't plan on having kids cause I use that phrase a lot.

Absolute swoon.

Sorry mate but disagree there. The likes of him, Tom Davies, Jonjo Kenny are all good players in their own right. They are all young and havnt as yet reached premiership level. On your basis of being held back, these three should be bombed out the club in the summer.

You are correct on both counts. They are all decent players but as you said not PL level yet. We need them to develop elsewhere on loan to see if they can become PL level players but the problem has been that they are not PL level yet we have been playing them in our team. I would loan Davies and DCL out but until we can get a better right back than Kenny then keep Kenny as back up for now. I think out of the 3 Kenny is the most likely to make it.

If any of our kids go on loan it has to be to another PL team.
Certainly the 3 being quoted above. They'll learn absolutely zilch in the championship.

Wouldn't mind if they went to Germany or France where they give younger players more of an opportunity. Problem with the premier league is that the money stakes are so high everyone's frightened to take a punt and as soon as results start going the wrong way, the kids take the hit as the manager's nearly always opt for experience.

Still a young lad who has loads to learn and playing in a piss poor Everton team with no style of player or can't keep a manager in the office and people are expecting wonders off him? Utter madness this fanbase is, He absolutely dominated the City back four in that 1-1 draw, Good prospect considering we bought him for chump change.

He had a decent game. ‘Absolutely dominate the City back four’? Absolute nonsense.

Based on players like do well, that seems the case in the lower leagues too.

He ran them all over the joint.

I assume Bluemoon forum has a long thread on him, given that only DCL and Salah have completely dominated their back four this season. Presume a lot of them want to sign him. Copy a link of that thread on here, be worth a read.
