Cadamarteri was a bit of a headless chicken mate.

I've no idea if DCL is going to be a top striker or not, but I think he has more about him than Cadamerteri did, and hopefully he won't go out and smack some woman either.

I didn't think he was motm and anyway I think Rooney got it on BBC? Right now he is a bang average player but with a decent potential that is higher than many other average players. We need him when he has reached his potential not now. Having said that, I do understand why people are caught up in the romance of an everton youngster coming through the ranks, I just don't think we can afford that indulgence if we want to make top 5.

Ok, I disagree completely and the fact that the BBC gave it to Rooney doesn't matter to me. The numbers on here are DCL getting about 400 votes for MotM and the next highest is about 50 so most people here disagree with that point of yours. Not only do we need him now but he will be an important player for us scoring over 15 goals for us this season (vault opportunity). Also I didn't suggest he should be our main striker just that he deserved more respect than you were giving him and that he should get starts in Europe and the league.

I hope you are right and and I'm wrong and that he does begin to score goals for us.
