He is in trouble not because he "chatted about women in a derogatory way" but because he used his status to sexually assault women. His "chat" was an admission to committing a crime.

Trump is honest and that's why people like him. This latest attempt at character assassination is just confirming his honesty. Unlike Bill Clinton who has similar form but hides it under a mask of respectability.
And it was 10 years ago, ffs! He wasn't even involved in politics.
That the liberal mainstream so want him to fail is just driving more to his side.
Placing a person in a position where they feel they have to summit to sexual assault is an offence.
If your defence of Trump is that he isn't as bad as a bad man then, in my opinion, you need to reset your moral compass. Should the test for high office not be that you are what you say you are, not that you seen't as bad as someone else. Surely we don't want to go to the lowest common denominator.
As for honesty, he is honest when he is "found out", on your logic if it was discovered he murdered someone you would support him provided he fronted up and admitted it, and then added Bill Clinton was a very bad man.

He admitted to using his position to assault women. In law, if the person being assaulted holds a reasonable belief that they have to submit to an offence then that is still an offence.
If any country knows this to be true then it is Britian.

The problem for Trump is that this isn't an isolated incident, he has made many horrible, offensive and prejudice comments. It's more character suicide than assassination, he only has himself to blame.

1) Trumpeteers? This is why so much contemporary debate lacks nuance because most people assume there's only two black & white sides duking it out.
2) executions should be outlawed worldwide. Rape crimes should be graded, with most severe punishments for the most severe crimes, and downscaled accordingly.
