Donald Trump for President Thread

Just watched the whole debate 1h35m and Trump was an absolute winner innit. Theres no question about it. It's a real eye opener this because it is now so clear to me that medias are leaning heavily towards his opponent. A discrace. Interesting anyways.

State of the pair of them,
Sleaze bag salesman you wouldn't buy a car off, looks the sort that would sit in a pensioners living room for hours till he got a dodgy sale of a vacuum cleaner for three times the price its worth, then brags how good he is after the dirty deed.
Clinton cant put my finger on just don't get any connection at all, looks untrustworthy and desperate for power, could see her giving out hand jobs in the senate bogs if it meant getting her way.
wouldn't know who to vote for if I had one, I normally go for the less establishment option but Trump is plain dangerous , even the prospect of a bit of a laugh at the yanks isn't enough to back him.
.

Sums up my feelings perfectly. The phrase 'better the devil you know, than the devil you don't' comes to mind.

Honestly I thought he lost the first one but this was another ball game this.

I've not watched only listened and I'll be honest I thought he certainly did better , didn't see him as the clear winner myself . I set a low bar for him but I think he did better than debate one and better than I thought he would after the release of footage and the weekend he'd had.

I just never see anything resembling policy from him , if seems to be purely soundbite or attempted putdowns. Maybe that's just what people bored by politics want.

I accept my opinion , like yours , might well influence my perception of the debate .

It really isn't true. Senior Republicans who won't be voting for Clinton let alone a bed wetting supporter of her have removed their support from him. It's an odd fabrication to suggest no one cares outside of people who only want to use it to support Clinton.
I'm not saying Bill shouldn't have been brought to task for the allegations against him

Made me laugh when they announced Arnold schwarzenegger has withdrew his support for trump like he was taking some moral high ground in support of women's rights

The same arnie that had to apologise for tweaking women's nipples on film sets and grabbing arses haha

Their all as bad as each other

He just spouts the same sound bites that he does in all his speeches - irrespective of what that question is!

Not saying Hilary won the debate by any means but I can't see how you think Trump was a clear winner here. But then I'm not a Trump supporter. ;)

....I'm amazed Trump's tax affairs isn't THE showstopper. The fact that he's not paying a cent to support public services whilst the rank and file give up a % of their hard earned has to have a significant impact on voters.

You only pay taxes on income, and Trump is grossly exaggerating his income/net worth, which is why he won't release his tax returns. His other "financial disclosures" are misleading, if not entirely incorrect.

Thats what he is called over there?
That's news to me.

Re the debate - Trump cleared a low bar - he didn't use the P word and didn't swear out loud at Anderson & Martha. Hillary took plenty of hits but showed she is much more masterful of the things that actually need to be done - i.e. modify Obamacare, interact with other countries. Trump seemed to spout the "I'm the guy because ISIS is bad regardless of the other crap I've done" line.

Neither of them are rating highly in my book, but I'll vote for Hillary because Donald cannot become our President.

Even though he consistently lied throughout according to many fact checkers including politifact. Interesting anyways.

He spectacularly lost the first one.

He improved in this one, but I don't think he won a single vote.

His supporters love his style, but frankly I don't think the majority of Americans want a reality TV star as their President. That's all he is, and that's how he campaigns and debates. Government is not a reality TV show...a President can't go around saying whatever they want to whomever they want like it's actually a reality TV show. It's simply not how the world works.

He is not fit to be POTUS.
