I care because you keep on trotting out comments like "don't discount that pollsters are lying".

Pollsters are human and can get assumptions/models wrong or bad data can skew a result. However to think that almost all are deliberately lying when their reputations and very livelihoods depend on them being accurate as possible is tin foil hat stuff tbh.

Fwiw I think that Hillary supporters have become more passionate as the election draws closer but in any case a reluctant vote counts just as much as an enthusiastic one!

I have watched enough of the mainstream press, the faux impartial audiences (like when Farage debated Brexit here), the faux impartial moderators, the scare tactics, the evidence that they plan voter fraud, the collusion between the media and Clinton campaign to yes believe there might be a chance they are lying.

Hillary can barely fill a room of a few hundred people. Trump is filling stadiums. There's no comparison and that's the one thing they can't fake.

Wondered when you'd bring that the rallies up, the next step is usually how many Halloween masks have been sold or perhaps you have some chicken entrails that indicate he is going to win Virginia?

Thanks but I prefer to rely on the same data sources that I have for over 10 years, not always been happy with what they have indicated but I personally prefer it to believing everything that doesn't suit my worldview is rigged.

Deffo agreed there, 538 is the best tho, imo. 3 different models combining all different sorts of data with a relatively unbiased viewpoint.

538 has a great podcast on the role of Perot in 1992 that they just released. Worth a listen

Because they are like locusts. Like a company CEO on the stock market who is only interested in short term profits they are doing whatever they need to maximize their wealth not caring what damage they do to the society.

Ultimately they are global citizens and they don't really care what happens to the US and Europe. They will be safe within their gated communities.
