Not half as worrying as the thought that Ted Cruz might. Trump as President would achieve nothing, because he has zero support in Congress - but President Ted Cruz on the other hand would have both houses, a grateful Republican establishment (having seen off the Donald and Hilary) and the donors all on side. Given what he promises to do it would be a nightmare.

Aye, Cruz is an evil stuffed suit. I want to see Trump get the nomination purely to stick it to the Republicans

Rachel Maddow has a huge issue with Trump’s glorification of violence against protesters and people just he doesn’t like (black people) at his rallies. He has been advocating for violence against them for weeks now, if not months, and recently it has hit a boiling point.

Rachel created a timeline of Trump talking about how he “missed the old days” when you could get violent with protesters, which led into him advocating for his supporters to physically assault protesters while he promised to defend them in court if charged with a crime. It’s a direct line from point A to B, and it runs directly out of Trump’s big mouth.

This has been a DELIBERATE action by Trump. He knows he did this, and now he is LYING about it to everyone everywhere because it has finally gotten out of hand.

The video is damning. It could literally be used as evidence in court for inciting a riot. Protesters could arguably start suing Trump for ordering people to commit physical violence and injury on them, and all they’d need is this video to prove their case. It’s so disgustingly offensive words don’t adequately describe it.

I'm a bit confused to be honest. On the one hand you have this guy whose ex-wife is from a country whose citizens were violently oppressed by the state for decades, so you'd think he would know a bit about that, and he's running for a party who strongly advocate the retention of personal fire-arms to 'stop such oppression happening to them'.

So you'd think they'd be quite ok with personal protest wouldn't you?

Like any ignorant bully he probably sees probably engaging with anyone who disagrees with him as a sign of weakness, and that any dissent is wrong because it interferes with 'his message'.

Personally I'm still not actually sure he's not just doing for a laugh to screw up the Republican party. He's a good friend of the Clintons and a massive Democrat donor until recently. He's having too much fun being a [rude word] for him to be taking it seriously.

Republican Party voters are sick and tired of the Republican Party politicians doing nothing. They are angry and Trump is leading a movement.
Why is it hard for people to understand that?

The question is then not 'why are people voting for Trump'...it's 'why are they not voting for his rivals'?

He's obviously tapped into something that resonates with a lot of Americans.

It's akin to the utter bumpers on here who demand new signings are useless and should be sold before they've got fit and played even a half of football for us. These people should not be allowed under any circumstances to reproduce for the sake of mankind.

Its hard to understand because his fans must be thick as **** to think Trumps going to be any different

that he changes his policies every other week depending on who he is engaging with ? the fact his campaign is built around hate ?

2. You talk about the current politicians doing nothing but you fail to realise that hardly any of of trumps proposed policies (which he constantly changes btw) are going to get through congress ?

He's a terrible choice for president for so many reasons, he's one of the worst public speakers you will ever come across, he doesn't even know what his own policies are as he constantly changes them depending on who he is engaging with and trying to sell himself to. He's a walking trainwreck who purposely says dumb things that he doesn't even believe in because he knows his core demographic of poorly educated simpletons will lap it up.

Yeah I saw your comment @kithnou and I would agree with it to an extent...I just am curious though, is it just a case of 'doing something' that has galvanised his support or some specific policy that has appealed?
