The good people of the USA voted Bush into power twice, nothing is out of the question!
That's the problem - to me Bush was the idiot that some village lost, but compared to Trump, I'd be willing to amend the Constitution to allow Bush a 3rd term! Hyperbole, yes, but it's an indication of my feelings about Trump being elected to be the "Leader of the Free World"....
I do get that, because the ratings for folks like John Oliver, Samantha Bee, Stephen Colbert & Larry Wilmore would go through the roof and Trump would give them plenty of material. But back in the real world, I don't think Trump would be that delightful.....

The same people who voted for Bush will no doubt be voting for Trump. You obviously didn't/wouldn't of voted for Bush. Well the people who did would no doubt of picked Trump over Bush had that of been an option. It's a very scary situation to imagine Donald Trump as president and I think it's a sad reflection on the United States that the choice will come down to him or Clinton.

....the Republicans are renowned for fighting mud slinging campaigns, I'm sure Trump will dish the dirt on Clinton. I also suspect his bigotry can't help but surface. It will be a fascinating and I suspect nasty election.

You are correct that I didn't vote for Bush.
It is a sad reflection of the major party candidates (no 3rd party candidate has a chance, so they're not in the discussion) that we have such poor choices. For me, easily, clearly, Donald Trump is one of least fit people ever to run for major public office in our history. Hillary has serious warts to be sure, but my choice is clear - #NeverTrump, so I will vote for Hillary and not just abstain from voting.
No matter who wins, there will be fume. It's like Everton that way.
I do take comfort out of the fact that Moshiri isn't wearing a cheap-a$$ hat saying "Make Everton Great Again"
I smell a profit opportunity.
