I don't think it's all an overreaction. We're plumb bottom of the league, played atrocious in the first half and until 73 minutes yesterday hadn't scored a goal.

I am usually an optimistic person and give the benefit of the doubt; I even thought we played relatively well against Fulham and Wolves - the better team.

Yes some people will always go over the top, however I do feel the individual performances last night from a few, who sadly we'll rely on, ...

alongside the dire tactics we played suggest this isn't going to be a pretty season. Dyche needs to start finding a tune from these players as soon as possible.

Doncaster are the worst team in the entire football league, but they were better than us for large swathes of that match. All combined, that's not good enough!
1-0 down, 20 to go and you could see Dyche constantly motioning to hit it long to the corners, that was his (singular) tactic

Let's be realistic.
This squad is highly limited and will take 2 or 3 good transfer windows to sort out.
We all know Keane and Godfrey are accidents waiting to happen .
Branwaite and Tarks should be the centre back pairing full stop.
The minimum that is required, is that we are organised , combatative in midfield and can attack and defend set pieces..
These are all things you would associate with Dyche.
The positives last night was that Danjuma and Beto, both got off the mark.
Their goals and the return of McNeil and Harrison should boost are survival hopes and that is what we are talking about : avoiding relegation.
Like the last 2 seasons , that is the reality.
Did someone say' hello darkness my old friend',

A horrendous first half of football by Everton. Thankfully when Idrissa came on he started getting a grip of the game and Beto was a revelation. He gave their defense something to worry about and seemed to be enjoying himself. Surprisingly Keane wasn't our worst player, that honour has to go to Godfrey with Miko and Patterson close behind.

Beto my MoM and Idrissa a close second.

First 45 minutes was the worst I’ve witnessed for years, including anything Allardyce , Benitez or Lampard served up. Was ominous from the 1st minute when Pickford, Keane and Mykolenko looked like total strangers who had never even seen a football before!
Better after the changes in the 2nd half, at least Beto looks a threat and got some minutes under his belt!
Roll on Saturday lunchtime!

First half we looked so poor on the ball. No composure at all. Can't tell whether it's the players or whether they just haven't been coached properly. We should be able to transition from defence to midfield to the edge of their box against this level of opposition, not just hoofing it up speculatively.
Second half much better. Gave my vote for MoM to Beto, but maybe Gana was the reason we actually started to play a bit as he got hold of the ball. Couldn't vote for him because he should have scored or set up Beto, but balls-ed it up in a comically bad way
