Going out of the Europa won't instantly make us financially unviable, we're not those unbelievable scumbags accross the park who need the UEFA millions to maintain the debt.

The impact will not be immediate. If we miss out on Europa next season, it'll probably wipe out a few million of our profit. Being financially poor, it makes a hell of a difference when it comes to bidding and wage offer in the following transfer window.

Not sure about this mate. You can't ignore the profit we made from selling ticket for home game. 300k each game?

Well, in that case we just have to win the Europa League or finish in the Top 6, I know it looks like a impossible task as things stand, but you know what we are like when everyone else think we can't do it, we tends to like to prove them wrong!

I have a feeling we'll end up red for this financial year.
Less live game, lower league placing prize money, pre-mature FA cup exit and higher wage bill. The only way we can cushion these impact is to go far in Europe.

I don't know how good is your feeling? But I always feel we did play well in the second half of the season and I would stick by it.

I think by the end of Feb. we did have the answer to both of our prediction, we did know if we are through to the next round of the Europa League and we did have a clearer picture of where we could possibly finish.

It's not so much about prediction mate, I'm not going to go into that in this thread.
I'm just highlighting the minimum expectation on the pitch which is needed to balance our book(base on last season performance and profit model). Many here had been saying we'll be fine, write off this season and work on the next one but in fact they fail to realise the big impact it has on our account.

I think Dave couldnt have put it better.

We havent spent that in the last 8 Transfer Windows.

The last time we spent money, was the £11m we spent on Yakubu, £4.5m of which we got back from the sale of Beattie.

So in the last 8 Transfer Windows, we have a NET spend of £6.5m.

Maybe it's coming from the Robert Earl trust fund he's setting up for Everton...?

Yeah, just read that, it was superb, I suppose some people like to ignore the FACHTS.

Not 1 person on Evertons current board have "invested" 1 penny into the day to day running of Everton Football Club. Any money the Club gets, comes from Player Sales, The Fans, Sky and the CashCow that is the English Premier League.

All's well, though, mate. Debts? They dont exist. £20M when Bill took over...£41M now. Just look the other way.

Other good news on the horizon: the next tv deal from 2010-13 will smash all previous records once foreign broadcasting rights are sorted. That'll be another victory for Bill's revenue expansion strategy. He must get no sleep Bill...negotiating 24/7 with Rupert Murdoch.

God bless him.

someone with foresight not bluetinted glasses(y)

iam pretty sure that we would budget for finishing outside of the european places every season and if we do qualify its a finaclile bounous so to speak.

so i dont envisge any silly selling of players to balance the books more likley to have an adverse effect on incoming players imho
